It’s such a coincident that all my appointments today are made in places that i used to live in Tokyo years back. One of the neighbourhood I love most in Tokyo is Yoyogi-Uehara. It’s quiet and walking distance to Omotesando/Harajuku. I like that Yoyogi park and my favourite cafe Bondi Beach are a stone throw away from my apartment. ( I’ll write a different blog post on areas to live in Tokyo, apartment rate and short term rental rate ).
I went for lunch at Trattoria The Code (Next to Bondi Beach) This place look under rated from the outside but OMG the food here is sooo good. Apparently it has high rating The photos didn’t do justice but … but … *Slurp*

After lunch we went to Yoyogi Park to see autumn leaves. The weather is chilly in Japan now so it’s perfect for a visit. if you’re looking for a hip and fun park, here’s the place! Located near the JR Line’s Harajuku or Yoyogi Station, or Tokyo Metro’s Meiji-Jingumae Station, Yoyogi Park is one of Tokyo’s largest parks at 54.1 hectares. Nearest station to the park is Yoyogi Station ( JR Line ) and Meiji Jingumae Station ( Tokyo Metro )
Address : 2-1 Yoyogikamizonocho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
Access : Yoyogi Station (JR Line) / Meiji-Jingumae Station
Business hour : 5:00 am-8:00 pm
After a good 2 hours, we left cos the day is turning dark. I sent my friends off at the station and head to Meiji Jingumae and Omotesando for shopping. Harajuku and Ginza are also closely located. How convenient Yoyogi-Uehara is. Isn’t it the best area to live for those who like to live close to shopping district but want a quiet neighbourhood with a huge park to take a breather from the hustling and bustling Tokyo life. It’s a close walk to my favourite boutique/shop Shelter and rooftop Starbucks located at Tokyu Plaza.
